×Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of the WebsiteArchiver software, distributed by Kurt Kip e.U., Vienna, Austria. They apply primarily to the direct version purchased through our website. By downloading, installing, or using the software, you agree to these terms.
2. License
WebsiteArchiver is licensed, not sold. With your purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software. Each license may be activated on up to 3 Macs simultaneously, provided all devices belong to the same user. You can manage your activated devices through your Keygen account. If you need more than 3 activations or wish to purchase business licenses, please contact us via email.
3. Free Trial
WebsiteArchiver offers a free trial mode with full functionality. In trial mode, up to 10 websites can be archived. After that, a license is required to continue using the software.
4. Right of Withdrawal \& Refunds
As WebsiteArchiver is a digital product, the right of withdrawal expires upon the start of the download or the activation of the license key, provided you have expressly consented to the early performance and acknowledged the loss of your right of withdrawal (in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations). We may, at our discretion, offer a goodwill refund within 7 days of the purchase date on a case-by-case basis.
5. Restrictions
You may not decompile, disassemble, modify, copy, or redistribute the software. The license may not be resold, rented, or lent. Any use of the software for the purpose of piracy, circumventing access restrictions (e.g., paywalls), or any other unlawful activity is expressly prohibited.
6. Responsible Use
WebsiteArchiver is designed to archive websites to which you have legitimate access. You are solely responsible for the content you save with the software. Please respect the copyrights and terms of use of the archived websites. The developer assumes no responsibility for how the software is used by the end user.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights to the WebsiteArchiver software, including code, design, logo, and website content, remain with Kurt Kip e.U. Content archived using the software belongs to the respective rights holders.
8. Disclaimer of Liability
The software is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for data loss, damage to hardware or software, lost profits, or any other direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the software.
9. App Store
If WebsiteArchiver is purchased through the Apple App Store, the purchase agreement is made directly with Apple. Apple's own terms of use and refund policies apply. In this case, the license is tied to your Apple ID and not to a license key.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The current version is always available on this website. Existing users will be notified of significant changes.
11. Governing Law \& Jurisdiction
Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Vienna, Austria. Mandatory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected.
12. Contact
If you have questions about these terms, please reach out to us via the contact form on our website.
